During Saturday special stages the crew of Eurolamp WRT stayed nigh top-20 of the stage’s results lists. For example, the Ukrainians were 20th on 33-kilometers SS Ouninpohja.

Their best day result Valery Gorban and Vladimir Korsia captured on the short 4-kilometers SS Saalahti. During the morning section they were 17th on it, but after midday, during second pass of it, they occupied 16th row of the stage results list.

This is out of question that both the crew and the team wanted to be closer to the leaders of the race. But in context of all Friday problems, even such unpretending results ought to rate as active of Ukrainian squad. It` s suffice to say that there weren’t any problems with Eurolamp WRT’s car the whole day.

Vladimir Korsia: «After a lot of problems which we had during Friday we couldn’t allow risky ride to ourselves. So we piled up our pace step-by-step but constantly. So we could say that our day tasks were accomplished. We didn’t have any technical problems. And we are ready for once more race day».

The program of the last day of Rally Finland includes only four special stages. During Sunday the participants of the race will have only 34 kilometers to overcome. It is not so much. But it is not so little as for Finnish race…
